Looking for FREE, fun, family-friendly plans on Wednesday, June 4th?

RummyWorks and Lakewood Gardens Civic Association invite you to an evening of rummy games, great conversation, and good company with Rummy Club, happening Wednesday, June 4th from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Lakewood Gardens Clubhouse!

This free-to-play event is open to everyone—all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a seasoned player, a rummy rookie, or just looking to try something new and meet friendly people, you’re welcome at Rummy Club!

RummyWorks will bring all the rummy games, including over 24 decks of cards with written instructions for classics like Gin Rummy, Rummy 500, Continental, and Classic Canasta. We’ll also have a variety of Mah Jongg sets and multiple copies of popular commercial rummy games like Rummikub, Five Crowns, Phase 10, and Scorzo. Whether you’re rediscovering an old favorite or exploring something new, we’ve got you covered!

At Rummy Club, you’ll find a welcoming community eager to help new players feel at home. Most tables focus on fun instead of keeping score, and a RummyWorks team member will be available throughout the event to suggest games, explain rules, or help you join a table if needed. If you fall in love with a game and want your own copy, just ask!

Lakewood Gardens Civic Association will be generously providing light snacks and refreshments for everyone to enjoy. These will be available on a pay-what-you-can or pay-what-you-want basis—and yes, you’re absolutely welcome to enjoy them even if you don’t contribute. Every bit helps, but no one will be turned away. Your presence is what matters most—but your support, when you're able, helps us keep events like this free and open to everyone.

Can’t make it this time? Rummy Club meets regularly! Follow the RummyWorks Facebook Page or join the Long Beach Rummy Club or Orange County Rummy Club Meetup groups for future dates. You can also connect with other rummy fans anytime in the Rummy Club Facebook Group or the r/RummyClub subreddit.

Don’t wait—register now, add the event to your calendar, set a reminder on your phone, and share this event on social media. Bring your friends and family—the more, the merrier! We can’t wait to welcome you to Rummy Club on June 4th!
